Get Help and Information

On this site you can find help in cases of violence in the WAVE - Violence against Women directory, where you find contacts of over 4000 women's help organizations in 47 countries of Europe, as well as information on research, international documents and the legal situation in each country. You either can enter the search countrywise over a map of Europe or with keywords.

You will come to a country side providing an overview of women's helplines, women's shelters, shelters, crisies counselling, as well as on other women's help services. Best is to contact the national women's helpline in your country. In case in your country exist no women's helpline you can also directly contact the WAVE focal points.
Further you will find on the country site information on legislation, protection and prevention of male violence against women as well as a link to international documents.
