WAVE urges governments and international bodies to uphold their commitment to international legislation protecting women and girls from violence

In response to the backlash against the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention), WAVE has released a statement urging governments and international bodies to uphold their commitment to ending violence against women and girls by continuing to support the ratification and implementation of the Convention.
