This week we meet one of the newest WAVE members from Russia: the Crisis Centre for Women, based in Saint Petersburg.
The Crisis Centre for Women supports women survivors of violence since 1992. It provides psychological and legal counselling in cases of sexual and physical violence, trafficking and other crisis situations. Moreover, they conduct research, organise trainings, seminars, public campaigns and much more. The Centre’s mission is to create the conditions for the elimination of all kinds of discrimination and violence against women
Since 2019, the Crisis Centre for Women is a WAVE member and they joined the 2019 WAVE Conference in Talliin, where they shared with us the results of a research they conducted about cam girls and prostitution.
