The 27th WAVE Conference “Feminist Solidarity and Collective Action: Reclaiming our Power to End Violence Against Women” will take place in Bucharest, Romania from 22-23 September 2025. The first day is open to the general public and WAVE Members, while the second day is only open to WAVE Members.

This year’s conference is organised by the WAVE Office in cooperation with the Romanian WAVE Member Organisations A.L.E.G. Association for liberty and equality of gender (Asociatia pentru libertate si egalitate de gen), Anais Association (Asociația Anais), Necuvinte Association (Asociația Necuvinte), and Dr. Max Foundation (Fundația Dr. Max), and will focus on feminist solidarity and collective action to end violence against women and girls through grassroots mobilisation, community building, feminist support, strategic alliance-building, and resourceful organising amid current challenges.
