DIS.CO: Safety Planning Application & practical guide for long-distance counsellors are now published!

December 10th, 2019 – The final two outputs of the DIS.CO project have been published!

The sixth output is the Safety Planning Application, which is meant to guide and facillitate counsellors working through counselling at a distance. With this application, counsellors will be able to propose and design a safety plan for the clients and monitor their progress.

Additionally, the seventh and last output, the Assessment of the project & Practical Guide “CaaD Training for Counselling Practitioners” has also been published! This document analyses and assesses project results through feedback from the trainings.

DIS.CO is a two-year Erasmus+ project that aims at the development, piloting and dissemination of VET material regarding the enhancement of key competences of psycho-social Counselling practitioners in the field of Counselling women victims of violence through alternative digital means with the aim of providing alternative innovative services and building virtual workplaces. An exciting event has been planned which will include a lively panel of professionals as well as guest speaker Petra Bayr, chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Gender Equality in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
