The Country Report is the main publication of the WAVE Network, and it is published every two years. It is an essential tool for highlighting the situation of women’s specialist services across Europe from a feminist civil society perspective.
The Report
The WAVE Country Report 2025 provides an overview of statistics and information on women’s specialist services across 46 European countries, including national women’s helplines, women’s shelters, women’s centres, specialist services for survivors of sexualised violence, and primary prevention services. It also includes a chapter on technology-facilitated violence against women and girls and a chapter on femicide.
Moreover, the report provides individual country profiles for the 46 countries included in the research, giving a detailed picture of service availability, characteristics and accessibility in each national context.
